∞ The Forum Rules ∞

1. No Profiting. You will not sell anything unrelated to this site. Anyone caught, it is an automatic ban for all breaking this rule and there is no second chance.

2. No Advertising or Marketing. You will not market any promotions that are not endorsed and approved by eClipseMU Administration. Blatant promoting of your own website, products or services will result in removal of the material and the possibility of being banned.

3. No Flaming and Insulting. Try to be nice to one another. You will be warned and your warn level might increase and eventually it will end up getting you banned. This is not a place to take out your aggression. We mainly mean flaming and insulting other members. Such behavior is unacceptable.

4. No Multiple Accounts. No having more than 1 account. If you are caught breaking this then your accounts will be banned. We do random IP checks.

5. IP Proxies. There is no reason to use an IP Proxy. If you are caught using one you could be banned for it. Also, if you use one and you end up matching IPs with a banned user then you will be banned, no questions asked. It is a simple fact that if you use a proxy then you have something to hide or are trying to trick us.

6. Illegal Activities. Do not talk about doing illegal activities. There are sites dedicated to those so go there for that kind of stuff. This rule is mainly about trespassing and illegal behavior. Try and keep the talk as legal as possible please.

7. Spamming. I would suggest you to post related posts to the topic and a minimum of 10 words per post. We have a Spam Zone where you can spam if you want (though some rules still apply). If we notice you are not doing this we will warn you at first. In general, try and add something to the topic besides "I agree" or something like "Cool ".

8. Respect. This is separate one from flaming since it is the opposite side. We want to try and urge all members to try and help each other out and not degrade each other. We are not talking about flaming since that is more severe. We mainly mean when someone has a question don't tell them to use the search button. We want you to try and be helpful to each other. This isn't really a punishment here but more of me trying to urge people to help each other when they need it.

9. Hacks. You will not discuss anything about illegal programs. If you are caught breaking this then your account will be banned.

10. Signatures. Only 2 signatures and 1 user bar are allowed. Signature sizes allowed should not be bigger than any of the following:
Horizontal: 440x160 or 400x200 pixels.
Vertical: 160x440 or 200x400 pixels.
User bar maximum size is 400x30 pixels. Any type of video is not allowed to use as signature. No graphic or any offensive content. Follow the allowed size of the signature.

11. Chat Box. Chat Box is for small talk. Please use only one language, ENGLISH.
Do not post more than 10 times in a row.

12. Forum language. English language is required except:
- Guild Hall
- Localized Forums
- Private and visitor messages, profile and other personal things
All these sections are under moderation anyway. Administration have Moderator privileges in their Guild Halls, so they are responsible for them. Localized forums are under moderation of Staff members who speak those languages. Personal messages are your own business, but they must not break the common rules.

13. Forum events. Forum events are mentioned to win prizes from players; there are quite simple rules to follow them.
Any kind of deleting or editing posts are taking as a cheating.
Forum users are usually editing posts because they didn't read the Event rule, and also players are deleting their posts just because to let others win.
